Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By signing a quote, confirming an online booking, or otherwise appearing for Service with Acadiana Detailing at any point, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions (the “TOS”).

2. Scope of Services

Acadiana Detailing will perform the services described in the approved quote if applicable. The exact work details are defined by the communications (texts, calls, emails, in‑person discussion) that led to the quote. No additional paid services will be performed without the Client’s verbal or written consent. If there is no approved quote, service will be completed based on conversation between Acadiana Detailing and the Client in good faith.

4. Cancellation & No-Show

For jobs where substantial performance has occurred (e.g. specialty supplies purchased, priority scheduling, extraneous circumstance), or <24hr notice before the service date and time
Full or partial balance (the amount quoted) may be charged to the card on file at the discretion of Acadiana Detailing.

Acadiana Detailing will attempt to contact the Client to confirm any late cancellation. We understand extenuating circumstances exists, life happens. Please contact us ASAP about cancellations before OR after the service date & time.

  • 5. Service Guarantee & Refund Policy
    1. Issue Reporting – The Client must notify Acadiana Detailing of any dissatisfaction within 72 hours of service completion. Service completion is defined as the moment the vehicle’s keys and custody are returned to the Client.
    2. Remediation – Acadiana Detailing will re‑perform the service or correct the issue within 14 days of notification.
    3. Final Resolution – If after two remediation attempts the issue remains unresolved, Acadiana Detailing may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial or full refund of the balance (the $0.50 deposit is never refunded).

    6. Liability
    • The Client must disclose any pre‑existing damage before service begins and provide photographs of the vehicle (taken ≤ 48 hours prior).
    • If the Client alleges damage caused by Acadiana Detailing, the burden of proof rests with the Client.
    • Acadiana Detailing is liable only for damage proven to have occurred during the service and will cover the cost in full.

    7. Personal Items & Loose Compartments
    • Large personal items should be removed before service.
    • Small items, console items, and important vehicle documents do not need to be removed.
    • Acadiana Detailing is not responsible for lost items.
    • Excessively dirty compartments may incur an additional cleaning surcharge (pre‑disclosed in the quote).

    8. Privacy & Photography
    • Any personally-identifiable information, PII, or sensitive personally-identifiable information, SPII, discovered during service will be safeguarded and returned. We attempt to discern between and not discard of paperwork, documents, or mail.
    • The Client consents to Acadiana Detailing photographing the vehicle for marketing purposes, provided license plates and other identifying data are blurred.
    • Photographs may be used on any material owned or managed by Acadiana Detailing, including but not limited to our website, social media, and promotional materials.

    9. Valet Service (If Selected)
    • Acadiana Detailing must pick up and return the vehicle at the same location.
    • Acadiana Detailing assumes, and the client must internally confirm the vehicle is road‑worthy for transport before the service date and time.
    • Acadiana Detailing assumes no liability for the vehicle before or immediately after transport. Acadiana Detailing will pay for any damages found to have been caused by the driver of the vehicle during transportation as determined by the relevant insurance agencies.

    10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
    • These TOS are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
    • Any dispute shall first be addressed through good‑faith negotiation; if unresolved, the parties agree to binding arbitration in Lafayette, LA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

    11. SeverabilityIf any provision of these TOS is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
    12. Entire AgreementThese TOS, together with the specific quote, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior oral or written understandings.
