This Service Contract is a shorthand summary version for convenience and brevity. By signing either version of this document, the Client and Service Provider agrees that the shorthand version constitutes an accurate and valid simplification of the terms outlined in the full Service Agreement. The full terms and conditions apply in both cases. A copy of the full contract may be supplied upon request of the signer.
SCOPE OF SERVICES: Acadiana Detailing will detail the Vehicle per the discussions had. Discussions include texts, phone calls, emails, in-person conversations, and any other communication means between the Client and Acadiana Detailing. Conversations are not recorded and the scope of service is agreed upon retroactively by both parties.
PRICE ESTIMATES: The price is an estimate and can increase if your Vehicle's condition is different than expected. Acadiana Detailing will notify the Client of any changes before proceeding.
SERVICE GUARANTEE: If the Client is unhappy with service: Notify Acadiana Detailing within 72 hours. Acadiana Detailing will re-do the service or fix the issue within 14 days of notification. If there is still a disagreement after two total attempts, Acadiana Detailing may provide a partial or full refund at their own discrection.
LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY: The Client must notify Acadiana Detailing about any pre-existing damage to the Vehicle before Acadiana Detailing begins service. If the Client believes Acadiana Detailing caused damage of any kind, the burden of proof is on the Client. Proper before-pictures of the undamaged Vehicle or areas must have been taken at most forty-eight hours before the service date and time. The Client must report any damage claim to Acadiana Detailing 48 hours. Any damages agreed to have been caused by Acadiana Detailing will be covered in full.
LOOSE ITEMS AND COMPARTMENTS: The Client should remove large personal items from the Vehicle before service. Acadiana Detailing is not responsible for lost items. Fees may apply for excessively dirty compartments if allowed to clean them.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING: If the Client fails to notify Acadiana Detailing of a cancellation within 24 hours of the service date and time, or if the Client fails to appear to the service without prior notice, the Client may be charged a cancellation or no-show fee depending on the price and/or duration of the service. Acadiana Detailing has authorization to utilize the Client's card on file for agreed detailing services, and if the Client fails to pay for detailing services provided by Acadiana Detailing after they are completed, the Client hereby authorizes, allows, and agrees to Acadiana Detailing utilizing the Client's card on file for the full amount of the detailing service plus any fees or taxes at the discretion of Acadiana Detailing.
PRIVACY: Any valuable items or personal information discovered during service will be kept safe and returned. Acadiana Detailing guarantees that the Client's private information will not be misused.
PHOTOGRAPHY: The Client consents to Acadiana Detailing taking photos of the Vehicle and using them for any purpose, including marketing purposes, provided any personal information (e.g., license plates) is removed or blurred.
VALET SERVICE: The Valet Service allows Acadiana Detailing to retrieve the Vehicle from a Client's location for service, and return it to that location when service is complete. Acadiana Detailing will only pick up and return the Vehicle to the same location as per insurance requirements. The Client is responsible for informing Acadiana Detailing of any pre-existing damage or issue that could be hazardous or illegal on public roadways, and liability is subject to the same conditions as regular service. The Client must solely ensure the roadworthiness of the Vehicle for pickup. Acadiana Detailing assumes no responsibility of the Vehicle before pick-up or after drop-off.
